Did Michael Jackson Know Sign Language?

In a music concert in 1993, Michael Jackson was accompanied on the stage by the Cleveland Orchestra, one of the most relevant orchestras in the world. It also appeared a young child interpreting a fragment from the song 'Will you be there' into American Sign Language (ASL).

It is not the first time that Michael Jackson is associated with Sign Language. On another post of Unusalverse he was fleetingly seen signing his chimpanzee Bubbles. There are rumours on the Internet that Michael Jackson knew a few signs in American Sign Language but it cannot be confirmed at any official source.

This video shows the young child interpreting into American Sign Language from the roughly fifth minute that introduces a touch of tenderness to the show.
